Vileevils are Graham Crabb & Adam Mole, formerly of Pop Will Eat Itself. The Vileevils were formed when the 2005 reunion of Pop Will Eat Itself (PWEI) failed to become a full-time project. Singer Clint Mansell and guitarist Richard March were too busy with side projects to dedicate themselves to writing and performing new material, and so the remaining two members decided to form the spin-off band.
The first Vile Evils release was a collaboration with U.S. act 3kStatic in March ’08 entitled ‘Council Housed And Violent’. Shortly after, ‘Fucking & Fighting’, the first Vile Evils release proper was to folllow.

Second single ‘The Way I Feel Inside’ billed as Vileevils vs. Zombies features the dulcet tones of legendary Zombie Colin Blunstone.

The ‘Evils were the subject of a Sony Acidplanet remix competition where budding remixers were invited to remix next single ‘No Fear’. The results (Vile Evils original plus the 3 best remixes) are available for download and makes up part of their third release EP: No Fear.

All singles are available through itunes search “Vile Evils”.

The debut album “Vive Le Vileevil” is to be released in February 2009.

New Album “Vive Le Vileevil” out in February!
The debut album is to be released in February entitled Vive Le Vileevil named after the iconic Vivienne Westwood/Malcolm McLaren Vive Le Rock t-shirt first designed in 1972 but later updated and popularised by Sid Vicious as part of the Seditionaries range in 1977. The album contains all new versions of the singles, and will be available in a limited edition containing exclusive art work.

Coinciding with the release will be a small nationwide tour.

I would have loved to see PWEI reform but Vileevils has some decent sounding material. Looking forward to their first album.
